Dime Dime Baby Meme: Origin & AI Trend

Last updated: October 25, 2026

The Dime Dime Baby meme started as a few seconds of party footage: a guy on the dance floor at a Mexican quinceañera, dancing and eating a concha, who suddenly stops and stares straight into the camera. In October 2026 it became one of the biggest AI remix trends on TikTok.

The original clip

The video was filmed at a quinceañera, the 15th-birthday celebration common in Mexico and across Latin America. A young man dances in the middle of the party with a pan dulce (a concha) in his hand, takes a bite, freezes and locks eyes with whoever is filming. A second later he goes back to dancing as if nothing happened.

The original nine-second clip was posted on TikTok by its star, @eve.el.cholo (Eve Ramírez), on July 24, 2025, and has been watched millions of times. When it resurfaced in 2026, creators set it to BbY WOW by KAROL G with Judeline and rusowsky, and the clip took its name from the chorus: "dime, dime, baby".

1Your photo

Best results: one adult or one pet, face clearly visible and facing the camera, even light. Avoid group photos, sunglasses and heavy filters. Person videos keep the clip’s original party sound; pet videos are silent. Add the BbY WOW sound on TikTok when you post.

2Who is dancing?

I am 18 or older. I only upload a photo of myself, my own pet, or an adult who agreed to it. No minors, celebrities or public figures.

What "la mirada preñadora" means

Spanish-speaking fans nicknamed the look "la mirada preñadora", a joking way of describing an intense, smoldering stare. The contrast between the casual dancing, the mouthful of bread and that sudden serious look is the whole joke.

Why it went viral again

The clip resurfaced in October 2026, and creators started using AI to swap the dancer for themselves, friends, celebrities and above all pets. Tutorials in Spanish and English pulled tens of thousands of likes in a few days, and searches for "Dime Dime Baby AI" and "Dime Dime Baby IA" spiked from October 21.

The many names of the meme

Dime Dime Baby, Bby Wow, the Bby Wow guy, "Dime Dime Baby IA" and "Dime Dime Baby filtro" or "efecto" all point to the same clip. There is no official TikTok filter; the AI versions are made with video generators.

A note on the people in the video

Dime Dime Baby App is not affiliated with the people in the original clip, KAROL G or the record labels. The original was filmed at a teenager's party, so we only allow photos of adults and pets. AI versions are parodies; do not present them as real footage.
